There are many times when it makes sense to update your medical information:

  • A recent event, such as an accident, broken arm, or heart attack
  • A procedure, such as a surgery or other medical treatment
  • Medication you start taking, or dosage changes
  • A new doctor in your life

By keeping track of the names, dates, and details of these entries, you can quickly inform your doctor so that he can relate that information to your present condition. This helps build a clear picture of you and your current medical state.

When to Update Your Information

The information is only as good as the quality of the content shared.  If it is out of date, your doctor will be evaluating you with incorrect information. Make sure to keep your information up to date.

You can update your information at any time:

  • While sitting at home
  • While sitting on a train or bus  ride
  • While sitting in a meeting (just don’t do it while driving, please!)

If you remember something critical, just open your iPhone to ExpressWell, and add that information to your summary!

Keep in mind ExpressWell is only as effective as the information you put into it. Input your information carefully and make sure to proof read!
